Primary Hindu Deities

There are a few primary Hindu deities worshiped by the Hindus all over the India and also in many parts of the world where the Hindus live. Primary Hindu deities include the god of preservation lord Vishnu who is known as Vishnu ( The Preserver) and also the Shiva ( the Creator and Destroyer). Both these primary Hindu deities are very devotionally worshiped by the Hindus in the worship chambers of their household and also in many temples situated in every region of India. Presently, many Hindu temples of the primary Hindu deities have also been established in the countries outside India like UK, Australia, Canada and also in USA.
International Society for Krishna consciousness ( ISCON) has established temples of the primary Hindu deities in many countries of the world and there are also religious organization like Ramkrishna Mission who has established temples of primary Hindu deities in many parts of the world.

Primary Hindu deities also include Devi ( the Protecting Mother) who is also worshiped in many forms in different parts of India and also in other countries. Devi ( the Protecting Mother) has manifested herself in many forms like Durga, Kali, Chandi and Jagadhatri. The Devi ( the Protecting Mother) is also known as the primary mother of the universe and also the primary goddess of the universe. Many kinds of rituals have been specially prepared to worship Devi ( the protecting mother). The worship of the Devi ( the Protecting Mother) include the chanting from the books describing the wonderful power of Chandi. The description of the wonderful and courageous activities of Devi Durga is also a kind of worship of the Devi ( the Protecting Mother). Other forms of Devi ( the protecting mother) include godesses Kali and goddesses Jagadatri. All these deities are the manifestation of the Devi ( the Protecting Mother). The followers of Devi ( the Protecting Mother) equates her with other primary Hindu deities like Shiva ( the Creator and Destroyer) and Vishnu (the Preserver).

Primary Hindu Deities include Shiva ( the Creator and Destroyer) who is worshiped by the pious Hindus on every parts of India. A section of the Hindus who worshiped Shiva ( the Creator and Preserver) as their main deity of worship is known as Shaivays. The Shaivays worship both the idols of lord Shiva and the Shivalinga. (the male organ which resembles lord Shiva). Shiva ( the Creator and Destroyer) has been assigned with the task of destruction of the creation in the Hindu mythology.

According to the Shivapuran lord Shiva resides in Shivaloke ( the divine abode of lord Shiva in the heaven) with his divine wife goddesses Durga. According to the Hindu mythology Shiva ( the Creator and Destroyer) has children like Lord Ganesha, Lord Kartik, goddess Laxmi and goddess Saraswati. The worshipers of godless Kali also worships lord Shiva as one of the divine God and they consider lord Shiva as the husband of goddess Kali.

One of the primary Hindu deities , Visnu ( The Creator) is also worshiped in many temples of India with great respect. Hindus believe that Visnu ( The Creator) has 10avatrs or incarnations. 9 of the avatars have already come in the world to kill the fearful monsters who were tormenting the mankind. The incarnations of lord Vishnu came in the world to restore peace among the mankind. The 10th avatar of Vishnu ( the Preserver) will come in this world at the end of the Kaliyuga. The 10th avatar of Vishnu ( the preserver) is known as Kalki avatar.
